How long will it take to get my account open? |

TranzMoney is a regulated money service business and is obliged to conduct thorough identification checks when it registers a new customer. A scanned image (or digital photo) of your passport needs to be uploaded through the Register page and your account ID and password will be sent via postal mail to confirm your address. This could take a few days, but if you open a sub-account with us then future transfers can be processed straight away provided the account has sufficient available funds for the particular transfer order.

How long will it take for my order to arrive at my beneficiary's bank account? |

A. |
You will need to transfer funds to TranzMoney's bank account before we can cross your order. The funds that arrive into TranzMoney's bank account need to be CLEARED funds (that include the transfer amount PLUS the fee charged by TranzMoney). It must also contain your account ID in the reference field. Funds are crossed according to when the order arrives into TranzMoney's bank account (if you have a sub-account your funds can be processed at the next crossing session). Once your order is crossed then it should take about 48-72 hours to arrive into your nominated destination account.

How many crossing sessions do you have each day? |

There are two sessions each day- at 12pm and 4pm (UK time). You will receive the mid point of the interbank exchange rate existing at the time of this crossing session. It is impossible to receive a better exchange rate.

In this situation, due to the fact the exact local currency amount needed for this is uncertain, a sub-account must be set up first. The account will usually require funding of at least 110% of the necessary transfer amount (calculated using recent exchange rates). This ensures that enough funds are in the account to facilitate the transfer at all foreseeable exchange rates that may exist when the order is processed. We will provide you with the exact funding amount necessary when your sub-account is set up and you are ready to proceed. Yes. We can set up a sub-account for you, so that your funds are ready to be transferred quickly and easily in the future. As mentioned above, sub-accounts can be set up to facilitate the transfer of a fixed foreign currency amount too (eg when paying a specific amount of the foreign currency denominated bill or mortgage amount). At the moment, TranzMoney has the ability to handle orders to/from residents located in the United Kingdom and Australia. Do you accept cash deposits at banks or transfers from third parties? |

TranzMoney provides bank account to bank account transfers only- no cash deposits will be accepted. Furthermore, transfers must be from bank accounts held in the name of the person making the transfer - third party bank accounts may not be used to fund the transaction.
